Grande, Non-fat, half-sweet, extra hot, no-whip, Peppermint Mocha. You can customize just about anything nowaways, from your coffee to your hamburger at McDonalds. So why not your suit? For a fairly large investment piece you should be able to pick and choose exactly the way it looks, feels and fits. That's exactly what Indochino has done, but without the "huge investment" part. Indochino's suiting experience is completely custom and completely affordable.
It all starts with dropping by a showroom (or picking your suit online, but I like seeing the fabric in person). There an associate with help you with fabric choice, whether you'd like notch or peak lapels, whether you'd like functional or non-functional buttons, whether you'd like "Fututre Boss" written on the inside of your jacket or whether you'd like a 2 or 3 button jacket (obviously you're picking 2 button, but they give you a choice). Everything down to the smallest detail is custom and that's what I love about the process.
Now given that it's almost winter (ugh). I went with a winter weight fabric which will keep me warm up here in Toronto. Also did peak lapels, a 2 button jacket and cuffs on the bottom of my pants. The suit came in after a few weeks and just had to drop by the Toronto location for one round of alterations. It fits like a glove and will be a staple at holidays parties this winter. Thanks Indochino!
